I'm 52had hysterectomy 8years ago.I Have hot flashes 24/7 and severe vaginal dryness. My Dr prescribed estrace vag cream,Iam against HRT's never filled Rx.I Went back asking about bio identicals, she insists they're not much different &they get absorbed into the bloodstream and can cause same things as regular HRT's.She Now prescribed vagifem 25 mg.,says It's contained within the vagina not absorbed into bloodstream.I Am still hesitant. Answer:
I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties. In regards to your questions, we do not have any specific information on the use of soy for vaginal dryness, but Revival does have many clinically-proven benefits for menopausal discomforts.

Scientists became very interested in soy’s potential role for menopause health support after demographic studies revealed that only ~10-20% of women living in Asia, where the diet is rich in soy, experienced hot flashes during mid-life, in contrast to almost ~80 to 90% of Western women who experience menopausal discomforts.

While soy is not a replacement for prescription medication or HRT, over twenty clinical trials show that soy can help you have a more enjoyable and healthy midlife by lessening hot flashes or other common discomforts of menopause.

Soy consumption has been shown to significantly improve a woman’s comfort and health during perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause. A medical review in American Family Physician (the journal of the prestigious American Association of Family Physicians) found that soy can significantly improve the discomforts of menopause.

A recent Revival clinical trial also showed very positive benefits at a leading medical hospital. Study participants showed improvements in hot flashes, night sweats, and other common discomforts.

In regards to your question about your prescription medications, the FDA has not issued any drug interaction warnings for soy protein that we are aware of at present. However, due to the large number of new prescription medications on the market, we recommend that you simply call your pharmacist or medical doctor to check for any interactions.

Revival Soy is not a replacement for prescription medication, but can be excellent nutritional support for your dietary health plan. Revival Soy can be integrated into your current health plan to help you achieve better health.

Please let me know if I can help further.
Best Regards,
Aaron Tabor, MD
