Revival Soy Doctor Q&A's
Name: lisa

Question:
Dr. Tabor, I just ordered the Revival shake. C an you tell me how to use the shakes? D o I drink one a day, all at once, or throught the day? I have read alot on gas and bloating with Revival. How can I avoid this thank you Lisa

Answer:
Hi Lisa,

You can either drink the shake all at once or split it half and drink it at different times during the day, whichever works best for you.

The FDA states that 25 grams of soy protein per day with a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease.

Enjoy 1 naturally-concentrated (6x) Revival bar or shake per day for 20 grams of soy protein. Use Revival's baked soy chips, soy pasta, & soy nuts to boost protein intake.

Eating enough soy protein and soy antioxidants is essential to obtain soy’s full benefits. An international panel of leading soy researchers recommended that more than 100 milligrams of soy antioxidants per day are needed to achieve all of the potential health benefits of soy antioxidants.

The key to achieving and maintaining results with Revival Soy is regular daily use. If you’re looking to lose weight or increase energy you may begin to experience results in as little as 2-3 days.

In regards to your question about gas and bloating, some people experience flatulence (gas) or constipation/bloating with the consumption of bean products due to their inability to digest natural carbohydrates found in beans. A large, quick "dose" of protein can also overwhelm the digestive system for some people. The strategies listed here should work.

a) Use our Digestive Enzymes to help break the natural bean sugars and protein down. Simply take 1 or more pills at the same time you have a bar or shake. Our enzyme pill is 15 times the strength of the leading retail brand and very affordable. We can ship a bottle to you right away. Call us or order online: http://www.revivalsoy.com/products/supplements/enzyme.html?pid=3000

b) Split your Revival serving into two daily portions. Take the first portion in the morning and the second portion later in the day. You are less likely to "overload" your digestive system using this strategy.

c) Consume your Revival at a more leisurely pace (i.e. over 10-30 minutes).

d) VERY IMPORTANT: Increase your fiber (raw fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and cereals) and fluid intake. Consume 20-35 grams of fiber and 8 cups of fluid daily (as directed by your physician).

NOTE: Calcium can cause constipation for some people. If you are on a Revival product which contains 500 to 600 milligrams of calcium, make sure that you consume it slowly with plenty of fluid. Milk adds extra calcium, so you may want to mix with water or fruit juice as needed.

Please let me know if I can help further.
Best Regards,
Aaron Tabor, MD
